Christian Lempa - Storage and Backup in Kubernetes

Introduction

Below is a video from Christian Lempa on installing and using Longhorn for persistent storage in Kubernetes. I thought it would be particularly useful, as I'm currently looking at various options for setting up persistent storage, and Longhorn looks like it is highly rated as a solution for its simplicity and the fact that it makes use of storage from nodes within the Kubernetes cluster, rather than relying on an external storage cluster, such as with Ceph, or just iscsi connections to a Synology NAS etc.

The other important factor for me is that Longhorn can be added to a normal K8s Kubernetes cluster, and does not require you to have deployed the cluster through Rancher, the Kubernetes management service that originally developed Longhorn.
