Fix Chrome and Opera inside Ubuntu 16.04 Virtualbox Guest Instances

If you have a virtualbox instance running Ubuntu 16.04 and you get something like below when you launch chrome or opera, then there is a simple "fix".

Edit the settings of the virtualbox instance when it is shut down and go to Display->Screen and turn off 3D Acceleration as shown in the picture below.
