Samba - Fix Mac Photoshop Issue

If you ever see the following error when using Photoshop on a mac when trying to save to a SAMBA share:

Could not save as "blah.psd" because the file is locked, you do not have necessary access permissions, or another program is using the file. Use the 'Get info' command in the Finder to ensure the file is unlocked and you have permission to access the file. If the problem persists, save the document to a different file or duplicate it in the Finder.

... then here is the solution.

Steps

Click View > Show View Options

Then untick the Show icon preview checkbox.

You can now save the PSD files to the SAMBA share.

Remaining Issues

It's worth noting that whilst this resolves writing PSDs to the SAMBA share now, one still can't export other files from (jpg tiff etc) Photoshop. When I have a solution for this, I will update this post.
